Original art for your everyday life!

Hi, my name is Sue Gunter ,I create paintings and make jewellery for the average person in their everyday life.

My big claim to fame these days is my popular whimsy art. I started to make some test work for my new baby grandsons' room and people would come into my studio and love the cute images and bright colours. They started selling before I could finish them! . I now paint them for the young and the young at heart.

My other art work is also very bold in colour and still often has a whimsical flair. I love colour and I love to push it to the boundaries of what many see as acceptable. That is the fun of it - to shock the viewer with colour.

I`m also very interested in natural stones and the significance that they had throughout history. Many of the gemstones have been associated with special attributes for your health and healing. I plan to explore that with you and talk about the creative process of making art with paint, gemstones and making fused glass.
